Beauty is the First Test is now at Bliston Craft Gallery (7 September - 2 November). Although it’s a touring show don’t expect the exhibition to be the same in each venue; each space brings a new and fresh perspective on the works and their relationship to each other.

It’s a delight to have another opportunity to make work at Yarrangall Green Farm, near Frodsham, Cheshire. This is such a special place; the woodlands and farm buildings are beautiful and it offers (for me anyway) a space to think and contemplate new ideas, seeing them materialise in a new context.

Over twenty artists who have direct association with the University of Chester’s Art & Design Department are using this incredibly varied landscape to show a range of new works.

I had two great days of drawing at NN Northampton as part of The Infinity Show. Many thanks to my Spirograph team of assistants; it can be safe to say that they all got a 'taste' of the laborious yet strangely addictive Spirograph process!
