Over the Summer I worked with Manchester based photographer dk from Sketch360 to make a large scale Giclee print.
Although the print was the largest I've made to date, measuring 110 x 170 cms., it wasn’t as large as the original drawing; 20 Assorted Colour Inks, 3377 Minutes is a whopping 240 x 380 cms. Dk hung the drawing in his studio and took a series of high resolution images which were then cleverly stitched together. The finished Giclee print was fantastic and it was exciting for me to see one of my large drawings transformed into a new art form that stood up in its own right.
The limited edition print was commissioned by Luminescence, a security ink company, based in Essex and now takes pride of place in the newly decorated boardroom.
